When’s the right time?

When's The Right Time?

Time is precious and the one thing we can never get back however hard we want to.

When we look back on our lives, it’s easy to regret and find wisdom in hindsight.  Heck, the amount of times I’ve done that I cannot tell you!  But, that’s life as they say and we only get ONE shot at it.

There’s no rehearsal, no practice, no dry run – this is it.

Do you ever think about time and what you could be doing to make the most of it?  I’m all for fun, don’t get me wrong, but what about building a future for ourselves?

We are lucky if we can squeeze in 80 or so years on planet Earth and spending a lot of that time doing something we don’t love, like a 9 to 5 grind, seems to me to be a terrible waste of time.  I know because I speak from experience having worked a number of 9 to 5 jobs for over 20 years.  That could measure up to be a precious quarter of my life that I’ve spent resenting doing something I don’t really want to do.

In the words of the late, great Prince: ‘Life is just a party and parties aren’t meant to last ….’

In the past, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve got up in the morning hating the thought of going to work, I’ve dreaded the commute to work and I used to long for the weekend to begin only for the cycle of dread to begin again on Sunday.

Been there and done that too?

It’s time to set yourself free because life really is too short to spend doing something you don’t enjoy.  Freedom is truly worth more than anything:  the freedom to do what you want, when you want and how you want.

We owe it to ourselves to live life to the maximum.  Without wanting to be morbid, we really don’t know when time will run out for good.  The terrorist attack in Nice on July 14th, the earthquakes in Italy and Hurricane Matthew all brought that thought back into sharp focus for me.  You just don’t know what’s around the corner

I’m sure you’re the same when you think about leaving a legacy that is truly worthwhile.  Being remembered for adding value to people’s lives is priceless.

When’s the right time? = NOW

Enjoy your time, make it count and never waste it for it is the one commodity we can never get back.

I wish you every success for your digital future!
