I Don’t Have Time …

I Don't Have Time ...

How often do you hear people say ‘I don’t have time … to do X, Y or Z’?

We hear it all the time don’t we?

But, do you know what, we all have exactly the same amount of time in a week, there are no special rules for anyone when it comes to time.

How often do we see those people: –

  • Vegging in front of the television for hours?
  • Drinking with their friends?
  • Playing games on their XBox?
  • Sleeping late on a weekend?
  • Staying up late watching movies?
  • Talking mindless rubbish to their friends on the phone?

We all use our time in different ways but entrepreneurs know how to leverage their time to the maximum.  They are also aware that sacrifices have to be made in order to get the life you want and I knew I had to be different too.

If you’re still working a full time job then it may be a case that you need to get up a little earlier or switch off the TV when you get home at night.  It’s amazing what you can fit into a lunch break too instead of playing games or talking on your phone.

I’ve worked full time and run my tuition business whilst learning digital marketing skills.  I won’t lie, I’ve worked really hard to change my life in order to lay the foundations of the future I want.  I’ve done the long hours and I’ve sacrificed weekends but it’s all with an end goal in sight: a business that can be automated and leveraged to make money whilst I sleep.

I’ve noticed that when people say ‘I don’t have time’, what they really mean is: –

  • I can’t be bothered
  • I’m not prepared to think about my future
  • I’m going to rely on someone else to do it for me
  • I’m sticking my head in the sand
  • I don’t want to work hard to get the life I want

It’s the ‘tire-kicker’ mentality which I can’t stand.

It’s a tough one because we’ve all said it and we’ve all heard someone else say it.  What’s more, I know everyone had their problems and issues but so do entrepreneurs – they’re not exempt!

Entrepreneurs make their time-schedule work, they take action and they don’t sit back and wait for something to happen to them.

They are proactive and not reactive.

So, what about your time?

Our time here on earth is finite and one day there really won’t be any time left.  It sounds dramatic but we are reminded daily that life is short and fleeting.  We have a duty to ourselves and those we love to make the most of the time we have.

Make your time on this planet count and leave a legacy you can be proud of.  More than that though, enjoy and live your life to the fullest right now.

Remember:  Your time is PRICELE$$ so spend it wisely.

I wish you every success for your digital future!
